I'm very pleased with the whole process I didn't feel at anytime pressured into a hard sell and the information provided was excellent very easy to follow and provided the details that I required to make an informed decision. George was very helpful and in deed very knowledgeable about the products available, I have opened my investment account and look forward to continue success for all.

Dealing with VCL Vintners was an absolute pleasure from start til finish, although there is no noticeable finish as this is very much a long term partnership which can easily stretch into decades+. I had been wanting to move some of my saving in to whisky casks for some time, but I was wary to commit as I didn’t really know much about it. After speaking to Max my concerns were put aside and I became not only a willing investor but an excited investor. Max was professional, and knowledgeable but above all he was patient with me explaining every aspect of the process in an easy to understand manner. I look forward to being in business with VCL Vintners and Max for the future years to come, hopefully adding to my portfolio along the way.

This has been my first investment so I was a bit wary. I had no need to be.
I spoke with Shane and my experience was extremely positive. Shane was patient, he answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explained everything in an informative way, this give me the confidence to make my first investment in whisky.
The entire process was straightforward and was enjoyable. Shane was transparent throughout the process and a pleasure to work with.

This past year we have managed to scrimp and save with an interest to invest that money for the future. Stocks and shares were very daunting for a simple tradesman as myself. After searching good investments, whiskey investment came up, which intrigued me, even though I'm not a whiskey drinker, I appreciate the market for fine scotch. After a look at a few whiskey investment companies, VCL really seemed to stand out to us, so we got in touch, the next day I had a phone call from a lovely guy called George, he was very friendly, he even pointed out as a tradesman he understood that I have grafted for that money, he was in no way, shape or form pushy or sales like, he talked me through the whole process and left me to have a think about it, he did not chase us for a sale, our conversations were as if an old friend was calling. George had even offered to meet up in person to discuss the process further, as we are a few miles away, we opted for a zoom meeting one evening, which again put us at further ease. The whole decision was left completely in our hands, again with no pushy sales tactics. Looking at the companies track record, I think that says alot. We decided to invest in some casks, received our welcome pack, with samples very promptly and we are now looking very much forward to building our portfolio and working with George and the team.

I am new to Investing my money in Whisky so Its difficult for me to write a full review. Oliver who was the person I was dealing with was very helpful and explained to me why I should invest with VCL. He was very polite and not pushy, even though he called me several times.... supposedly to warn me that the whisky he had put aside for me was about to sell out. This could of course have been a ploy to sell the whisky as this is a common sales tactic used by many to sell. However it worked on me and I decided to invest £10000 . I was promised by Oliver that I would receive some samples of various whiskies on offer. However I have not received any of this yet....

After many months of delays on other projects George kept in contact and we finally got the ball over the line much appreciated for the constant following up and the growth that will come

After several phone conversations, it was clear that Oliver and VCL are serious about whisky and its investment potential. I am now the proud owner of two barrels of an already fine tipple, destined to improve while under the eye of their man on the ground. Recommended!

Visit to Royal Brakla Cask Warehouse, Cawdor, on 8th November 2023 to see one of our Investment Casks . Auchroisk 2017.
Myself and Brother in Law Drew Walls met VCL Staff Charlie and Russell as well as Warehouse Manager Kevin.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the conversations we had with the above 3 people. It certainly opened our eyes to the amount of work involved in storing of casks.
52,000 casks on site. Just the enormous visual image of this along with the " aroma" within warehouse was staggering. Quite something to be in there. Our thanks to all staff as well as Martha and Tommy in London HQ.
The Warehouse staff had "our" barrel moved and there on site for easy access to see and touch. I think both Drew and I were almost overwhelmed with the emotion and adventure of seeing and touching our " investment" . It was also a pleasure to see the process of "running off" a sample for each of us . Again thanks to all for that.
For us to have that done in front of us was just tremendous .

Our experience was also enhanced by the very knowledgeable conversion we had with all of you there. We learned a lot more about Whisky cask maturing, Cask Storage and various stages of storage over the years.
We both thoroughly enjoyed this visit and experience and it fulfilled the " adventure and dream" of owing our own Cask of whisky. A brilliant day .
