Hi Julie. Thank you for your review. I have checked our email list and you were actually on the list twice! I have removed one of them so you should now only receive one lot of emails from us.

These exogenous ketones are the best value I could find in the UK. Excellent ingredients, including BHB attached to a good breakdown of electrolytes/essential minerals, as well as organic cacao nibs, natural flavour and a little stevia. That's it! The powder tastes yummy blended with almond/soya milk. I even add ghee or double cream.
To stay in keto, we need to watch the carbs though (ideally 20g or less) so the nutritional breakdown for this product is essential. I emailed and the Product and Development Manager was quick to reply that "cacao nibs have approx. 115mg carbs per gram and the natural chocolate flavouring approx. 59mg carbs per gram. So this means, per 15g serving, BHB has 0.41g of carbs (most of which are fibre). I hope this helps."
It certainly does! However, I'm still a little confused. Cacao powder is simply ground up cacao nibs, so one would assume nibs and powder should have the same nutritional value. Cacao powder has about 40g carbs per 100g or 0.4g carbs per 1g.
Just to be sure, I calculate a 15g serving of BHB at 1.5g carbs (since a 15g serving has 2.97g cacao nibs and the cacao flavour).
Along with 200ml of unsweetened almond/soya, that comes to 2g carbs per yummy beverage. I'm probably being over careful, but I drink this twice a day and I am at therapeutic levels of ketosis on a daily basis.
You can also add avaocado to make a yummy chocolate mousse.
