My partner had the procedure in 2019. Information and support before and after were very good, and as far as I can remember as it was so long ago, the surgery went well and recovery was as expected. The reversal was a success and we conceived naturally 3 years later.

What can I say from the moment I booked on for my operation, phone call to go through everything they couldn't be anymore helpful,and on arrival to the hospital which I was over an hour early they still got me checked in and were so friendly,and b4 I went for my operation, was made to feel rite at home and relaxed ,everything was explained any questions answered and after operation was visited again and explained everything went well, hospital so clean and staff friendly all on all I had a great experience and made to feel so relaxed which makes you so comfortable, highly recommended

Thank you to John and his team. My partner had his reversal in November 2022 after having a vasectomy for around 17 years. We was very reluctant if this would work or not.
John was amazing from start to finish very helpful. And very attentive to any questions or advice I needed. He answered me always within an hour or so.
The surgery went well and the care from the nurses/staff was great. Very kind had our own private room with tv and my partner was checked on so many times after his surgery.
We had our semen analysis come back and the results were amazing. We sent them straight to John and he said that’s great news!
So we have given the all clear to try for a baby naturally!!

After a failed attempt of a vacetomy, which wasn't carried out properly John gave me one final chance of trying again. to which I am delighted to say I have received results back today saying I have sperm in my test results so so happy I know its not 100% I will be able to have kids again as this is only step 1 but I am so so so happy thank you best surgeon around.

Brilliant doctor (Doctor McLoughlin was both thorough and patient, taking the time to explain and answer all my questions - I felt completely at ease knowing I was in very safe hands), brilliant hospital (very friendly and attentive staff, beautiful grounds, all in all the best hospital experience of my life), great experience in all - the attention to detail and care by all those involved really made me feel safe in my decision to get a vasectomy reversal at Bury St Edmunds, and happy to have such an option available to me when my home country (Sweden) is rather lacking on that front. By the way, personally, I found that flying home 2 days after the operation was perfectly fine, though I did make sure to avoid as much stress as humanly possible and really take it easy along the way. Now here's hoping the operation will turn out a success for me (given that there are never any guarantees for this sort of thing)!

John carried out my vasectomy reversal on 17th Oct 2018 and at the same time moved 2 cyst I had, one on each tube. I wanted to let you know how grateful I am that you went the extra mile to move them, as it has made a huge difference to day to day life. I had had daily pain from them for 20 years, just standing at the sink to wash up or bending to get something out of a cupboard would cause pain that could last for days. Now I can do these things with no pain. We are now in May 2022 I am still pain free and we are proud parents to a 4 week old healthy baby boy.
