I have found it difficult to get started with and not very intuitive. I have gone back and forth with this and Picard (among other tagging tools). I haven't had much success with Jaikoz and have forgone it's use in lieu of the previously mentioned alternates.

Very much enjoying using this app. It’s fast, efficient and comprehensive in features. Only thing missing for me is some kind of scheduling to do a song fix. Watched Folder doesn’t quite cut for my use case. But the developer is clearly responsive and thoughtful and no doubt has reasons for not including this. HTML support for Safari seems broken but setting Safari to Chrome emulation is a workaround for now. Highly recommended.

Hi Ian, there does seem to be an issue with Safari for some users, but it is not totaally clear why the issue occurs, I am interested in your comment about Chrome emulation but I cannot see how to do that, perhaps you could post some details on the forum?

Awesome tool. Great configuration options, does a pretty good job of populating metadata from Naim rip xml. I wish it could CREATE Naim xml from metadata - that would be cool for some specific tasks.

Hi, it does support Mp4 Audio just not Mp4 Video because it is a Music Tagger not a Video Tagger

I have found this application useful. However, I’m new to the confusing world of metadata and find myself stumbling through using this and the SongKong application. Both need clear, complete documentation. Best case would be, in addition to the documentation, short “When you have this problem, do this” videos. I feel like most of what they can do is going right over my head.

Did what I expected it to do, and some things I'd have preferred it not to do. It will probably help to run it a few more times. I didn't realise that accepting accents (e.g. acute) would also mean that Russian words would be converted to Cyrillic. Matching not perfect - changed some tracks of albums from the correct information to a later reissue. Provided cover art where it didn't exist (mostly correct) but changed some cover art to other albums / reissues. They're the "negatives" that I've noticed so far. There may be more but hopefully not frequent enough to matter. Overall, happy with what it did.

I love that Jaikoz lets me fully customize the views. I was able to set it up so that the information is presented perfectly to make tagging my music collection easy. I also like that it can show two views at the same time; one showing the original tags and another showing my changes. It makes it easy to visually validate my changes before saving them. The developer is very responsive. I asked a question on the forum and received a prompt and helpful reply.
