Hi Charles, SongKong has an undo facility if it has made changes you don't like, but it would be best if you run Help:Create Support Files to upload your report so I can see exactly what your problem is and help you better.

HI, I found it wonderfull, first of all because it's written using java, and for all the customizations it offers. I use it with my NAS (a Zyxel 542 exactly), should be very good a web interface to remotely use it via DynDNS. I hope in the future...

Jaikoz has a lot of functions, but is very confusing when used only occasionally.
The range of functions could be greatly reduced for average users: For example, creating tags from the file name is superfluous if databases are retrievable.
Editing flacs including adding covers is the strongest reason for Jaikoz.
I correct the tags or load them from the database, insert a cover and finally create a new filename - that's all I ever need.

Hi Martin, the filenaming is sometimes required - especially when songs cannot be found in the MusicBrainz/Discogs database. Its difficult to remove functionality once added because it is normally used by someone.

It's the only mp3 tagger I found that could remove ALL hidden tags, but that's all I use it for. mp3tag.de is much easier to use for my other tagging needs and doesn't take 10-15 seconds for the Java to load and open the app

The slow loading is not really due to it being Java based application, the main reason is because we have options stored as an encrypted xml file, we are moving to a plain text properties file in Jaikoz 10 and this change will dramatically speed up startup time.

So far, I am really liking what SongKong brings to the table. I do wish that there were some additional options/settings that I could really get detailed around the renaming, but this app really kicks butt.

Hi Edward. Do you know you can edit/add new masks and can use Javascript expressions in their construction so that you can do almost anything when renaming, if you there is something you cannot do just email support and we will be happy to help.
