Cnverted Naim HDX-Files. Worked perfect.

How the hell was I living without it all this time! This is really great and very stable software for my dual boot Mac and Windows notebook. I The only two more wishes I have so far is for for the song matching to have a higher percentage and for a synology disk station plug in.

Identified and mostly correctly tagged a lot of stuff that's been sitting in my library for up to ten years only previously known as track##!

Recently bought SongKong after using Jaikoz for many years. I had a loarge batch of mp3 files from a wide range of sources e.g. ones I had ripped from my own CD collection or bought from online services. SongKong was able to correct much of the metadata and consistently applied quality artwork to the files which has vastly improved the usability of my music collection. I have used it mainly on my album collection so far. I'm going to try it next on a load of Various Artists to see how it copes with that.

The only thing it seems to get wrong for some files is the original release date which sometimes makes it tricky to find an album based on when it came out.

It does a good job of helping sort out a messy music collection, and I would recommend it to a friend.

Hi , very good software, a lot of features! Only a good and clear manual for beginners or tutorials are missing ... finding the exact info like for example : rename a file with masks is an extremely job .. for a newbie. But overall it’s a very good package!

Jaikoz has been a very useful tool for me for many years. Paul's friendly and quick responses on anything related to Jaikoz -from licenses, bugs to requests- have been wonderful.

Very robust, powerful software and incredibly versatile. My only less than great experience is with the user interface.

Very good but did get some of the artwork wrong, - needs improving.
This would be top notch software if it included an accuracy checker.
I use dbPoweramp for my cd rips and then they have a program called 'Perfect tunes' which checks the accuracy of your music files using the 'Accurate rip' database.

I’ve used jaikoz to clean up my song collection. It did the bulk of them well, but I am running into oddball exceptions where it completely changes the metadata to an unrelated song by an unrelated artist. I realize this may be the underlying music databases, but from where I sit the result is the same.

There is one use case I am surprised hasn’t come up before, and would be popular and unique if you added it. I like to listen to music by decades, and create playlists based on ranges of years, like’80s, ‘90s, etc. However, there’s no way to tie a song to the original release and its release date. To me - and I think a lot of people - a recording from the ‘70s that was rereleased in a 2005 compilation is actaully a ‘70s song. I have tried all the options using the original release date and so on. I am laboriously manually retagging the year for this piurpose. It will take weeks of work. It would be a great feature to find the first recording of a given song by a given artist and assign that date, optionally. I think a lot of people would like to listen to music by timeframe, and no other product does this yet.

I purchased Jaikoz because you can do the modifications by yourself and you have the complete control on them. Mainly, my need is to replace the missing pictures of the album by the ones I have selected and Jaikoz is doing the job perfectly as I want but sometimes after having saved the modifications, all metadata of the album are completely erased including the names of the tracks. So I am not fully satisfy.

i love it... have the this program for over 8 years now... only problem is ... a music library of over 50,000 songs ... if i load more then say 15,000 song it does like it and blanks out... windows closes the program, not problem with your program but with my windows computer setup i think

The program is fast and easy to use. It identified all my songs like magic and downloaded album artwork. Perfect. It works perfect even for individual songs not connected to albums. Very nice that the program can be used on Linux and ran from the command line.

Perfect
