I have been using Song Kong with iTunes, and I honestly don't believe that anything can fix the mess that Apple has made. In the past I used Song Kong in Windows with another media organizer and it worked exceptionally well. I hate to give only three stars, but they do promise to work with iTunes. At that impossible task, they are only average.

Does a good job finding the right artist and title when searched individually, but when you select a list of 10 or more it picks up all songs as if they were from a single album and they do not have the correct name and artist. Sometimes it will not find an artist or title but when searched individually it will pick up some strange foreign name and title.

For me - simply the best music-editor.

I have been unable to have this program run continuously and consecutively over a few days to update my 1.6 TB music collection. It covers a small fraction each day and then will stop 2/3 of the way through after 3 days without either finishing or fixing what it covered to date. Very frustrating.

Fantastic. it cranked through nearly 80000 files in about a week on a headless linux server.

Although initially worried that my iTunes database could be damaged, I was pleased to see that SongKong allowed me to preview various scanning operations, showing me the results and all without making the associated changes to the database. Once I was comfortable that the software did exactly as it promised it was just a matter of de-checking the preview button, allowing a new scan to be performed and ‘voila' the database improvements were made.

Good architecture and well thought out. A welcome edition to the digital music world !

I use MusicBee and made the mistake of allowing it to read and 'correct' metadata for about 8,000 songs. Most of my library now has completely wrong info and this has become a valuable tool for me to correct that

I used the trail for quite a few albums and got tired of the limit and decided it would be well worth it to own

Only issues have been with 'greatest hits' and b-side compilations as well as occasional demos will receive the incorrect info (normally it rolls with the more popular studio album the traxk appears on), so i need to just run through and double check before saving. Overall has been worth every penny and im excited to continue restoring my music library

The overall ease of use and layout is petty good. What disturbs me a little is that the automatic correction does not update metadata when there is already some basic data there. You have to go through every release one by one and check these by release if you want metadata updated or added. Also the update from Musicbrainz is terribly slow most of the time, though I strongly suspect this is the Musicbrainz API most of the time and not necessarily Jaikoz. MP3tag is a lot faster with Musicbrainz, though not with Discogs.

Though Jaikoz looks fairly professional, some file handling and database optimization really needs to be done for collections of over 100k tracks locally on SSD, or about 50k when this collection resides on external storage like a NAS. Any larger than this and the GUI gets sluggish and so once in a while just stops responding all together for a few seconds. Also memory use frequently exceeds 12GB when a larger collection is loaded. (I'm running Jaikoz on a server with 2 CPU, 8 core each, 64GB of memory Windows Server 2019 standard, 4 OCZ Vertex 4 250Gb SSD and 500Mbit internet connection).

Overall the accuracy is very good though. If the tracks are a decent quality and the release is in the Musicbrainz or Discogs database, Jaikoz will correctly tag the tracks with an over 99% accuracy.

It's great. I love that I can run it on my Synology NAS and designate a watch folder.

Works well - only had a couple of items that couldn't be identified automatically in the online catalogs.

Very clever software. Enables full control of all metadata for ripped cd's - an essential requirement as data is so frequently missing or corrupt. Easy to use too! Highly recommended.
